"Regardless of how earnestly you assert this pablum, or nostrum, whichever connotes the most queasiness, it remains insupportable hokum."

Believe in Darwinism if you want to, but when you do so you are accepting a religious, faith based, belief and not science. If you chose to follow this religion, then it is your right to do so. Freedom of religion is what makes America a great country. Darwinism is a religion and no amount of mocking me with obscure words and pompous phrases will ever change that.

"Darwinism is a religion ..."

What you need now is a big loud bullhorn, and a spiffy uniform, and maybe the power of the State behind you, and you can perhaps turn this lie into a perceived truth.

For lessons in the technique, look up Joseph Goebbels.

To make a claim such as this is so far from the mainstream that you couldn't find it with a telescope.

The theory of evolution is a science, and follows the scientific method.

The scientific method is the exact opposite of religion. The scientific method relies on facts, and builds and tests theories in order to explain those facts.

Fundamentalist religions rely on scripture and revealed "knowledge," and abhor facts and theories which contract that "knowledge."

More traditional and established religions (e.g., Catholics) do not see a conflict with scientific facts and theories.

Continuing to claim that acceptance of (not belief in) the theory of evolution is a religion is a very fringe belief which is not supported by evidence. Perhaps you could provide evidence for your claim next time?

Darwinism is a religion

The only people who consider Darwinism a religion are people on the fringe of those who do not accept the TOE.

I've never known anyone who accepts the TOE who considers Darwin anything more than one of history's greatest scientists and the TOE anything more than a scientific theory. Furthermore, I challenge you to tell the millions of Christians and Jews and other religious people who accept the TOE that they are apostates to their religion. They'd look at you like you were crazy (and rightfully so)

Calling something a religion doesn't make it so, no matter how many times you repeat it.
