I will gladly give G. W. Bush a few things: 9/11 was not repeated; this is to his credit. He is a decent and honorable man, unlike his predecessor. However, in refusing to halt illegal immigration, he added millions of people to the ranks of the Democrat Party, increasing immensely and permanently the power of this decadent, depraved, parasitic organization. In delivering the U.S. government to these misguided, dishonest, self-serving politicians, he sank the U.S.A. and the American people so deep into the decadence that the Democrat Party represents and promotes that we will likely never recover. Evidently he lacked the wit to understand what was at stake and the folly of the positions he took.

I was one of Bush's most enthusiastic and loyal supporters when he was first elected, and I voted for him both times. However, WestSylvanian is right; his administration has been a disaster.

I can't say I was that big of a W supporter. I did vote twice for him, plus twice for governor and twice for GHWBush. I mostly vote against democrats, not especially for republicans. I never vote third party.

I deeply regret both GWB and GHWB will/do reside in Texas. Wish they would go live in kennebunkport. LAURA can stay!
