For lunch today, I put some Havarti cheese on some good multigrain bread, warmed that up a little in the toaster oven, warmed up some slices of Honeybaked Ham for about 30 seconds in the microwave, put the ham in the bread with the cheese, and that made for a tasty sandwich while I was driving around today!

Must've gotten the ad slogan wrong in his inebriated state...

Then there's that religion thing, which is the claxon of tyranny and imbecility. . . .

In honor of this DUmmy's keen intellect, I will now list all the atheists who were instrumental in developing a theory of gravity, germ theory, human flight, American democracy and the end of slavery in the American republic and British Empire:

Man, that's an impressive list.

This was a very unusual Will Pitt OP. First, his sentences were brief and fairly coherent. Secondly, he actually got a lot of flak instead of the usual 95% sycophantic posts. I guess his stock has really plummeted in DUmmieland.

And those salted hams hang today in every filling station in Virginia.

You have to soak them in water to get most of that salt out.

I think I have a $10 Honeybaked Ham coupon floating around here someplace. If I can't find it, I'll look for it on the web. BTW, you can always find restaurant gift cards selling cheap on the web. Typically a $10 gift card sells for $3 and a $25 gift card sells for $10.

Please tell me you didn't pay full retail for that ham when the coupons are readily available.

Is Randi Rhodes doing a show down there in South Florida nowadays, PJ? Does she have any audience?

I haven't heard Randi on the radio since she split AA. BTW, you do know the story how it was YOURS TRULY who got Randi her big break on Air America? She sort of thanked me for that in an e-mail. It was all part of an Al Gore At The Movies review.

This is going to make you SICK but you could have saved 25 bucks simply by printing out this 50% off Honey Baked Ham COUPON.

Don't feel bad. I'm constantly battling with my wife over the importance of coupons and discount deals.

Remember, NEVER pay full retail when the coupons are so easily available both online and other places.

I did. The wife had a discount coupon ($5 off), but I forgot to get it from her. Oh, well. I'm going to have ham again today for either lunch or dinner (Day 4).

You're still thinking of the Old Pitt, William Pitt the Younger, the Logorrheal Pied Piper. This is the New Pitt, William Pitt the Older--chastened, reticent, gun-shy (by Pittian standards), no longer an Insider and a Player.

I guess his stock has really plummeted in DUmmieland.

Ever since the first Fitzmas, May 12, 2006 . . .

Hee! Hee!

Hey, we're having a big Ninth Day of Christmas Party on Friday, with a lot of pastor types and their families coming over. I might be able to talk Mrs. Henrickson into springing for another HBH if we can get it at such a low price.

I have always been wary of those online coupons, not knowing if they're legit or if they're a lure for spam (not ham).

Oh, that coupon is LEGIT all right. Just click on it and print out. NO spam questions to answer. Try not to think that you could have saved TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS with that coupon. Don't worry I won't rub it in.

TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS!!!

Notice the Space-man sitting at the bar in Roscoe Karns's most excellent graphic up above.

I'm not sure what they're up to, but Lootie can't bear to look at it.

Pitt is hoping that there will be a CCC camp for erroneous political pundits.

IMHO, the WPA is better.

You get a shovel to lean on all day long in the WPA.

When does the planet start to heal and the sea levels recede?
