if I even hear a film has a smidgen of an environmental message I back off big time.

For me, it depends on the special effects, since I'm fairly propaganda-proof. I enjoyed "The Day After Tomorrow" on TV, even though the environmental message is way over the top.

I loved that movie. The effects were incredible and the story was hilarious. I thought it was a comedy. First rate hysteria and melodrama.
