actually diet coke can make you fatter as it has no calories and can trick the body into thinking its starving, which increases hunger.

They'll figure that out in 6 months when they need to apply the tax to diet sodas to make it "fair".

The body sees it pretty much as water. Does water trick your body into feeling starved?

Some of the newer diet soda formulas are very good. Restaurants could switch over to sucrolose based sodas and most people wouldn't notice. It would be great if restaurants carried more choices than just Diet Coke.

Soda companies would see their sales increase if diet sodas became the fashion since people can drink more of them without feeling sick. Unfortunately most people remember the nasty chemical tasting formulas.

So, if one eats a Big Mac with that diet coke, can we trick the body into thinking that the Coke has calories? LOL

Actually, I no longer eat any of that junk, but the damn government should not be telling any of us what is, or is not, lawful to eat. This stuff is nuts!
