He is an American hero. He has a history of putting country first. On balance, there is no doubt that he is a man of honor. But he has tarnished that honor, unnecessarily, in recent times.
The McCain campaign for President was so burdened with contradiction as to appear to be almost bipolar. To the degree that a campaign is a reflection of the candidate, it is little wonder that McCain could not win out over his much more inspirational and charismatic opponent. More importantly, it is the inside operation of his campaign as a manifestation of the man wherein some of his shining honor was diminished.

AT least we know what to expect from Obama. McCain is like a box of chocolates...........
I'm not sure what he will do to our military.
I'm not sure what he will do on defense spending.
That's just three great concerns I have, there are many more concerns but these are top of my list.
Can you tell me if Asia Times is a somewhat reliable site?
Here's a link if you are interested in reading an article there.

“Now - a straightforward question - do you REALLY believe that Sarah Palin is antywhere near Ron Reagan or Maggie Thatcher or Jeannie Kilpatrick?...”
-
Yes.
Next question?
I’m not sure we know what Obama will do in foreign policy.
I’m not sure what he will do to our military.
I’m not sure what he will do on defense spending.
There will be no surprise from Obama on these three issues, as he has been very specific with his intentions. His foreign policy will be to favor terrorist nations. He will take our military out of the Middle East and put them on the streets of America. He is cutting defense spending 25%.
All I needed was to see were those ridiculous interviews to know that Sarah was well beyond her abilities. It was painful to watch.
If people like you are what determines the future of the conservative movement, we have long isolation ahead of us.
Did you ever answer my question?
What is it you find lacking in Palin’s qualifications? Compared to say, Ronald Reagan.
(other than testosterone, which you seem to consider a job requirement)
Please be specific.
- She was completely unable to function in anything but adoring crowds. She bombed miserably with nearl all of her interviews. If she can't function under that little bit of stress, what would she have done with a real crisis?
- She is in no way qualified to serve as president.
Good enough?
Hang in there, even though you're "uneducated" or "deluded". :-)
It almost looks like you're wrestling with Palin-hating Jello...
