Palin to Sit Down With CNNs Blitzer Former GOP VP Nominee Talks in Miami By Larry Barrett -- Multichannel News, 11/10/2008
CNN will air a one-on-one interview with former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday, Nov. 12, network officials said Monday.
The Alaska governor will be in Miami for the Republican Governors Association conference. The interview will be aired throughout the three hours of The Situation Room that day.

She got to where she is on her own. She is no longer under restraint and maybe she feels the best way to stay alive is to nip as much of this crap in the bud and move on.
I just worry for her. I want her to come out of these things smelling like the lovely and beautiful rose that she is and not the stuff the rose is planted in.
I just was a report that she’ll be on ABC Good Morning America tomorrow too.
It’s only fair. Sarah gave Matt Lauer his shot at her. I think there’s a pool among the press who can do the biggest hatchet job on her.
Let the woman live her life. She’ll decide in four years whether she wants to put up with our “advice.”
Exactly, she no longer has to think about echoing McCain’s talking points. That folks, is a big deal!
Why the hell not? CNN can’t be any worse then the snarky untrue gossip that FNC threw at her.
Gov. Palin will take care of herself, you watch.
we need more republicans who are willing to go on the media and defend themselves and their party, esp those who has the energy to go on a media blitz. To alot in the media, going on the media = getting thigns done, even though you don’t really do anything.
During a hurricane, all u need to do, is do a media blitz, nothing realy happens on the ground, but say things are moving, and the media will love you
Even David Frum is sort of defending the ‘Cuda’ now. Funny right after the release of Rasmussen’s poll that Sarah is approved by 91% of Republicans many politicos have come forward to defend her or at least to criticize those criticizing her. Coincidence. I’m not that stupid. It’s called hedging your bet.
She should stand the punk up.
>>Even David Frum is sort of defending the Cuda now.
Why not? She’s not a threat to his interests any more. David Frum is defending Sarah now that his “crush” has made it into the whitehouse.
So do I....I think that now that she is out from under the constraints of the McCain "no fight at any cost" campaign strategy, she might just do a little good old Conservative singe job on the media....and maybe McCain too.
I, for one, would applaud her stirring the pot!! We Conservatives need a leader....and I think she has it in her to be in the hunt to be our next Reagan. She has a long way to go, but as raw material, she has the right stuff.
Don't go, girl. You did your thing with the media this weekend and with Greta.
Take some time off and be a wife, mother and Governor of Alaska for a while. We will still be here.
These people never learn. This is just plain stupid, PERIOD.
Rip him a new one, Sarah.
Gov. Palin ain’t scared of the wussies at CNN !!
“NOOOO! Please say its not true! Has she learned NOTHING?”
I think she wants an interview w/o McCain campaign rules restricting her thoughts. Any time she began to speak her mind it seemed that the McCain camp squashed her (rightfully so I guess...he was running for POTUS, not her).
When you speak from the heart, you get a message across. When you speak what others want you to say, you come off as uh, um, uh, uh, uh, an idiot.
Sarah is far from perfect when it comes to dealing with the drive by media. You have rose colored glasses on if you think otherwise. The best time to get practice with the drive by media is now, not later.
I wish I could fast forward over the next 4 years to see what unfolds. The suspense is killing me :-)!
She has nothing to be afraid of. She’s free of McCain. She no longer has to pretend to remember McCain’s positions on the issues. She can be herself and defend herself. She’ll do a great job and no one in the media will notice. They’ll just quietly ignore her after this. Mark my words.
Me too!
And I totally agree with you that Palin will be fine now that she is free of having to answer for McCain. She gives great interviews when she's unleashed.
I love it. It’s only 1 week after the election and Sarah decides to steal 0’s thunder by appearing on Greta, Today, CNN, the gop govs. meeting. Talk about a re-launch. She is not going to be saddled with this defeat. To those of you who worry about her: 1. if she really can’t handle the media on her own, it’s better for everyone (including her) to know now; 2. Have faith in her, she has a hunter/killer instinct and knows when to stike.
