Gee thanks, highball, with FRiends like you, who needs enemies.

From your homepage:

“”Sorry, John. I really did want to give you a chance. But my vote isn’t guaranteed to anyone just based on his party. It must be earned, and you haven’t even come close.
I’ll support the down-ticket conservatives. But I’m leaving the top slot blank. Hey, GOP primary voters - next time, nominate a conservative.””

It is people like you that have just placed the most radical leftist this country has ever known into office. Your pouting over our flawed candidate that emerged to represent us led you to swallow the foul stench of marxism and sit on your perfect Conservative hands.

I guess that is fine if you have one foot in the grave and have no children or grandchildren to be concerned about. Too bad your love of Conservatism supercedes your love of country.

Hopefully, your disregard for America will not haunt you through eternity as you watch our country capitulate to leftist disgust.

Nonsense.

Perhaps you didn’t recognize the flag in the corner. I live in the Empire State. My non-vote for McCain didn’t do anything for Obama - he was going to win our electoral votes anyway. In this royal blue state, I was in the unique position of being able to cast a moral vote without actually helping the Dem. So no, I didn’t do anything to put Obama in office.

Besides, I will always stand by my principles, and that means I won’t vote for a man who has shown himself to have none. McCain is the worst kind of craven politician, willing to bend in any direction if he thinks it’ll get him a vote. Just because he’s mouthing the right things today doesn’t erase his history, nor does it mean that he would be a conservative in office.

So no, McCain never earned my vote, and as I said on my page, I really hope that Republican primary voters decide to nominate a conservative next time.
