This one is a tough one. Yes, it would be nice to treat nObama the same way the libtards treated Bush, BUT I always want the best for America, and I always believe, as Christ did, that we should turn the other cheek. I will continue to pray for America (nObama too), that our economy strengthens, that we stay safe, and that the world becomes a better place. However, I will call him out when he screws something up!
You HOPE you can call him out when he screws something up!
We’ve been turning the other cheek for far too long.
Remember what Jesus said in Luke 22:36. He advocated for people to defend themselves. It’s that time
My mother used to say, “Don’t become what you hate”.
I don’t disagree with any of the comments here in principal, but in reality, we are better than that. We will go along to get along. We’ll choose our battles, but we’ll fight fair. Maybe we are suckers for doing so, but we’re not DUmmies, KosKids or MoveOn loonies. We know that America is better than any one ideology or any one leader.
I understand and agree with your sentiments re: being a Christian and being Christlike.
I can see now why Jesus avoided politics.
Remember that Jesus didn’t just turn the other cheek; He also drove the money-changers out of the Temple with a whip.
There are limits that we need to respect; but - for the sake of all the babies that will die if this guy gets to start naming Supreme Court Justices with a liberal Congress - we need to drive Obama out of the White House.
And I DON’T mean this to apply to Obama as a black man (rather as a dangerous radical), but we need to whip his butt out of the White House.
