The election is over. Senator Obama has turned into President Obama. The country has voted, the world has gasped, and the Republican Party has been dealt a major blow in years. Its over. Is there anything left? Yes. You. And the millions of Americans who yesterday didnt give their votes to Obama.
Think about it: years of unpopular Republican presidency, George Bushs approval ratings hitting all times low, years of war, the global financial crisis, huge troubles with economy, and . . . McCain gets 46% of popular vote against Obamas 52%.

At least they are the 1-2 already most liberal justices. He will be hard pressed to find anyone more liberal. Then we can move on to fight the battle over the court another day in four years.

That was the plan many years ago - beginning the process of the “dumbing down” of Americans.

We will filibuster. We learned that from the dems. Pay back is sweet. And many blue-dog dems know that their folks voted 65 to 35 for McCain. The people are watching and they could be out in the cold 24 months from now.
I disagree - he's got Pelosi and Reid in the house and senate. He has some leverage there. The electorate has about as much power now as it had when the government went against 80% of the people's will and passed the $700 billion buyout. We can't stop them.
I think of the People, ultimately, as an immovable force.

This is the hope, but this is going to happen only we learn the lesson. Dems beat GOP on every turn when it comes to utilizing new tech and reaching out to grasroots. There’s a lot of other afactors of course, but this one is fundamental today and it’s actually an easy fix comparing to war and economy.
