Current Travel Warnings

Travel Warnings are issued to describe long-term, protracted conditions that make a country dangerous or unstable. A Travel Warning is also issued when the U.S. Government's ability to assist American citizens is constrained due to the closure of an embassy or consulate or because of a drawdown of its staff. The countries listed below meet those criteria.

I figured you would come up with those. The problem is that they aren't "forbidden" to US travelers. For God's sake, Israel is on that list. The Philippines are on that list. Read what it actually says. They're just saying that you might run into trouble there and they might not be able to help you if you do. That's all.

As far as I know, the only place that the State Department forbids travel to is Cuba.
