Best laugh of the night—”Senator Government.”

And it's gonna stick, too. God made that faux pas!

“they were like McCain sucked?”

While I don’t think he sucked, it still wasn’t a game changer. McCain threw the right punches, he just didn’t carry through with them. The good news is that only 4 of the undecided on the Luntz panel made up their minds. Unfortunately they all decided on Obama. I do think McCain came across as the best man, though, so maybe the polls won’t change much. If his campaign and the RNC can come out with some good ads explaining his economic and health plans maybe we can still drag him across the finish line. O’s past associations are dead in the water it would seem.

There are no game changers in these debates. What there is is hard work knocking down the favorability ratings of your opponents over a period of time.

“WTF was wrong with Kristol and Barnes?”

They are both “inside the beltway” pimps. Especially Kristol with that damned smirk on his face I'd love to paste him across it. He's so damned full of himself. He's getting to be a turd like Gergen.

I think they’re using reverse psychology on us, trying to get us mad and go vote for McCain. Seriously.

“Then Krauthamer said not even Ronaldus Magnus could survive against the O.”

It never ceases to amaze me how otherwise intelligent people can be roped into believing that people like Obama and Clinton have outsized oratorical gifts. The only politician in my lifetime that came close to transcending everyday demagougery was Reagan, and that’s probably only because he was a professional performer. I’m sorry, I just don’t see it with Obama. So overrated.
