We have evolved past the need for proof, especially with someone so important as The One needing to be in charge. We cannot allow mere rules to get in His way.

While the constitution spells out the eligibility requirements, it does not designate any person or entity with the task of verifying them.

“No controlling legal authority”, to quote a famous liberal.

Or, if you consider the tenth amendment, it’s up to us!
