Abigail, I do however take issue with your points about wishing you had homeschooled him so you could teach him “reading writing and arithmetic.” Your grasp of grammar, quite frankly, is atrocious.

I am dyslexic and can't spell English worth a darn, too many broken rules. Writing was always my worst subject.

Not a problem homeschooling my children since they begin to teach themselves once they learn to read well. The second advantage of homeschooling is having students that do not rely on others for learning, they can think for themselves. No wonder dems hate them. BTW my oldest graduated high school with his associate degree in biology and now has a graduate degree in business, second oldest is at Juilliard and the third in now in college....I did not hold them back in the least!

THank you for that! I know what you mean. I find also that some of the smartest people with the most common sense and courage can’t spell a thing. I don’t judge a person by his education.
