I was at a recent rally and my Senator acted like I was from Mars when I brought up William Ayers and ACORN. Senator Chamblis is a republican. He told me to keep up the good fight. I almost fought him but whumping and old man would be unpopular here in Georgia. Besides, he fed me and my family. It's a Southern thing not to whump folks that feed you.
Anyway, people are just concerned our candidate refuses to fight. We are up against a liar, a socialist, a lover of terrorists and we aren't trying to win.

***McCain isn’t a fighter by nature. He’s a middle-of-the-road accommodater. That’s why there’s always this terrible risk that he’ll put the gloves back on, which is probably what he will do anyways. It’s in his nature. As soon as he does that, he loses the race.
He came out of the convention pumped up and fighting, but soon reverted to his old ways of reaching across the aisle in that financial crisis. As soon as he took the gloves off, his poll numbers started to plummet. It’s almost like Moses holding up his arms while the troops fight. So what, that he needs to get someone else to prop up his arms? Keep up the fight, whatever it takes.
