If it's too serious to keep him from being VP, then it's too serious for him to return to the Senate, either.

If Biden has to drop out of the race for "health" reasons, he should also resign from the Senate to spend more time with his family, otherwise he will be living the sham that this really is.

Good point, Political Junkie Too. However Bill Clintoon mentioned tonight on Letterman that Biden had had an aneurysm (he didn't say when). I think that's the first time I've heard it mentioned on TV...
