They do, but remember- impressions draw on common perceptions the public has about people-- or even things that are outright parodies of what people actually do, like all those things that Yogi Berra said- except for the fact that he never actually said most of them.

Think Chevy Chase portraying Gerald Ford as a klutz. Or many other impressions done on SNL, SCTV and elsewhere.

And if you read the transcript- there are valid points about sexism hidden in there, and I'll bet you that they weren't there by accident, either.

I thank you so much for posting this. I absolutely loved it. I was cracking up and they were fair to both and actually very accurate throughout the whole thing. I don’t know much about them making Ford a klutz as I do know he did fall a bit and that might be why SNL was able to make fun but they were spot on with Sarah...even Tina had her accent pretty good. Great job Saturday Night Live.
