LOL - I loved the hidden message.
I saw CNN doing their campaigning for him earlier this evening...showing BO doing his empty-suit act for what appeared to be a lackluster crowd in Indiana. They showed two or three uninterrupted minutes of him rambling his same non-substantive garbage. CNN gushed and then gave last week's poll results (with the bump) trying to pass them off as current. The guy mumbled once that they were last week's numbers.
Then they showed about 15 seconds of Sarah in Colorado with a very enthusiastic crowd and gave McCain in Michigan about 30 seconds - also with a very pumped up crowd. (Guess they can't hide that, no matter how much they shorten their segments.)
CNN totally sucks.
Until the President-in-waiting takes the oath of office on Jan 20, 2009, there is no new President yet.

I really feel sorry for people like you who are FORCED to watch the communist news network. I know you are on FR quite a bit, but I can't imagine having that garbage to be the only thing for news.

Let’s assume that yes, he was born in the US. Since his father was not a US citizen, there were some requirements on the mother in order for her to pass on the citizenship to her son.The 14th amendment to the constitution grants citizenship to all children born in the USA. Neither parent has to be a citizen. Yell at the Supreme Court, not me.
Children born outside the USA to a US citizen are given citizenship by statute. In that case there is an age and residency requirement. See this note from the State Department on Acquisition of U.S. Citizenship By a Child Born Abroad for more information. It's very short.
Remember, we are talking about the laws in effect in 1961, not now!The Constitution was in effect in 1961 if I remember right. The 14th amendment was ratified on July 9th, 1868.
Bottom line: born in the USA, citizen of the USA.

AFN News shows Fox, CNN and MSNBC in two hour shifts throughout the day. It happened to be CNN's turn when I watched the news last night. I was so disgusted; it was so obviously an Obama campaign channel. I was snarling at the TV throughout all that garbage.
This was posted on FR late yesterday. I wish Mrs. Palin would RIP the DBM the first time she gets an invite and ask them if they are part of the BO campaign.

Phil Berg. I can absolutely assure you, the Clinton’s had no foreknowledge of this legal action, any contact, or any input on this lawsuit whatsoever. I have known Phil Berg for more than 10 years and he’s a very fine person and a true Aemrican Patriot who puts country before party, as do I. This is a Constitutional issue which must be addressed. In my opinion, Obama has perpetrated a massive fraud upon the American people and must be held accountable for it.
I can assure those who doubt the authority of the federal court to hear and decide this case, and order Obama to produce documents, clearly do not understand that no one is above the law, and that includes candidates for the presidency.
Not according to Phil Berg’s or my information. If Obama wants to settle this sooner rather than later, let him produce the certified VAULT copy of his birth certificate and not force Phil Berg to get a court ordered subpoena by the judge.
Although, that won’t settle the issue of his loss of citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia and made a citizen of Indonesia. Only until 2006 were dual citizenships allowed in Indonesia.
Actually, Obama has mutiple issues with citizenship and that isn’t allowed because of questionable loyalties. what his supporters don’t realize is this is a Constitutional issue, putting country before party.
The COLB displayed on his website “Fight the Smears” is a forgery. His simple and uneducated Kenyan grandmother, who didn’t realize the implications to Obama’s citizenship with her admission, says he was born in Mombasa, Kenya. Use of the forged COLB shows a consciousness of guilt on the part of Obama.
And to complicate matters further, he can’t be president as he was adopted in Indonesia and became and Indonesian citizen. And his religion was listed as Islam on his school records.
