You posted that you really liked Lieberman,
________________________________________

And I do...

But I doubt if you will find a comment that I posted where I said I would ever vote for him...

And since you are just hitting and running and not bothering to back up your “nasty” (your word) accusations with valid sources, I feel that you may just be attempting to stir up controversy and not actually contributing any information of substance.

Your “ I don’t have time to go looking for” the comment you spun about me, speaks volumnes...

# 38 From you to Nana : You posted that you really liked Lieberman,
__________________________________________________

Apparantly I really said to another FReeper who had mentioned Lieberman “I’ve always liked Joe Lieberman”

And I have...

I was appalled that he would agree to be Algore’s VP in 2000...

I was highly disappointed in him at the time...

I felt that Lieberman was a gentleman and patriot and was far removed from the liberal, whiney, obnoxious Algore and that he had lowered his standards by associating with Al...

Even if he had not been the VP pick I would not have voted for Lieberman...

But it does not stop me for respecting the good he has done for our country...

Next time really read my posts and do not spin them...

Ho-leee cow, woman. Did you even read what I posted? There is NO accusation without sources, at least on my part! I've asked you twice about the source of your fondness for Lieberman on the older threads I found and copied FOR YOU per your request. A casual reader could certainly conclude from those posts that you were "just hitting and running" since you didn't bother to answer the question. So, you've posted twice now that you like Lieberman, as anyone with two eyes can see in your own words on this thread, which is ALL I've ever asked you about. I never once accused you of anything, lady!

You want me to provide proof that you said you'd vote for Lieberman? Why would I try to prove something to you that, in fact, never happened? Why the knee-jerk straw man tactic here, TN? I never asked if you would vote for him, did I? I asked you why you liked him and what his conservative credentials are. Same as you asked about Eric Cantor on the thread I posted above. Fortunately for you, you got a lot of well-informed (and might I add, polite?) responses to your question about Cantor...in stark contrast to your response towards me asking the same exact question of you about Lieberman.

Casual readers, of which I doubt there are any given this thread is in the chat forum, can plainly see that, as soon as the opportunity presented itself, I took the time to find your posts to which I referred. It was merely a courtesy to you, as you can see that my recollection of the prior exchange with you was quite accurate. Perhaps it was naive to provide you with such courtesy, but hey, that's just how I roll.

What "speaks volumes", at least to me, is your comment that I'm attempting to stir up controversy. For what purpose, hon? Now that is what I would call a nasty accusation.

The life of the unborn is very important to me, which is why I prefer methods of protecting them that actually work, and that does not include obsessing over the elections of public officials who will not be in a position to help them.

Given that McCain is going to be 72, so it's not that unlikely that the VP could become President.

The VP is also the one that would break the tie in the Senate on judges and legislation.

So, whoever McCain chooses might be in a position to factor into the fate the unborn.

I can see Dan’s point that the President himself really has little practical effect on abortions in this country

It's a poor point because the President has the most power when it comes to impacting abortion via Supreme Court nominations.

A pro-life VP is essential

Hunter, Cantor, Palin...
