Doubt it. It's hard to warm up to a man who clearly does not believe in conservatism.
Did you watch McCain last night?
Obama was so slippery because he is not sure what the answer should be.
He is still looking for direction, and subconsciously ashamed at his own stances.
Therefor, he is following the path of least resistance while desparately trying not to give a “wrong” answer.
If he screws up an answer, he simply makes up another answer that “clarifies” the one he flubbed.
The Saddleback forum was like an X-ray into the reality of this Presidential race.
The Saddleback forum showed Obama as pandering and slippery, and McCain as (suddenly) more straight forward and direct.
If only the RNC could package the Saddleback debate for TV or the Internet, and play it over and over until November.
Lastly, if you want a good laugh. Check some of the Obama worshiping forums and read their excuses on why Obama was so awful on Saturday night.
They are accusing McCain of having Rick Warren’s questions “an hour” in advance.
You missed a good performance last night then. McCain came across as by far the most conservative candidate since Reagan. He made the Bush's look like far-left. It was pretty shocking just how conservative and desicive McCain was with his answers. Of course immigration was not mentioned, but on taxes, spending, attacking government health care, abortion, energy, defense, identifying the enemy as radical islam, McCain was shooting bullseyes.
