As a proud Minnesotan, I think this would be absolutely great, but I don’t think it’ll help the GOP in the Mid-Atlantic states. He’s going to need Romney, who would really help him in the Rust Belt - at least a lot more than an “unknown” (outside of Minnesota) like Pawlenty.

I haven't lived in Minnesota in years. What can you tell us about Pawlenty as a governor? I once had a good impression of him before it became clear he'd drunk the gorebal warming Kool-Aid. Minnesota could use a little warming even if it were a fact and not a fantasy to bring our economy down to the third world level.

I just don't know a lot of people who give a diddly damn about global warming. There are even fewer who can entertain that luxury during an economic downturn.
