Why are there no classmate stories from Chicago?

Why are there no reminiscences or anecdotes?

Why the utter silence?

Fifty-six years ago? A tiny group (an experimental early-entry combined degree program) of 18 year olds; the ones still alive if any, are now late 70's. She lived with the Paynes, not in a dorm.

Further, when you read Dreams, you come away with the thought that Ayers was writing around the possibility that someone would remember and come forward to upset the legend.

He backdated the film story to a studio preview a year early to back date the Au Paire period.

Nobody remembers her at Mercer Island either. The only people who admit to knowing are the people involved in execution of the events.

The bloggers mom's family were out front in the main events. Susan Botkin (now Blake) is an engaged member of the Political Front. The third lady in the 3 Musketeers had to be prompted to remember that Stanley even existed; initially didn't remember talking to her or knowing she was around in August of 1961 when she was staying on Mercer Island--may have gotten a telephone call.

Everybody who now admits to knowing something about the Stanley on Mercer Island period (and the only two or three people who are public admitting it) are part of the extreme Liberal Front groups.
