You have any idea which virus it was? No. What-ever it was must have been in the document posted on FR that led me to Orly's website. Seems it was the document itself that was the culprit. Maybe Brown Deer can tell us where the document came from?
Lucy was kind enough to send several of us a warning not to go to the site because of what happened to you..
I telephoned a freeper in the US and asked them to contact Lucy, to send out a warning. That was all I was able to do...and I still don't know if the document was genuine!
I only reposted the link from this post, which I was pinged to:

I also posted the same documents which are displayed there, so that nobody would have to go to the site if they did not want to. The page is still there and I have visited it multiple times on different computers with no problems whatsoever, but of course I always have my AV running, don't allow popups, block most ads, and keep my OS up-to-date. In any case, I got no warnings whatsoever.
Seems it was the document itself that was the culprit.
The two documents were jpg images. I have scanned the documents and found no viruses. I have scanned the source code of the web page and found no viruses. I have run the web page through multiple virus checkers and found no viruses.
Maybe there is a virus out there that sits on a person's machine and waits until that person visits a specific website, then activates itself. I don't know, but if that were the case, you already had gotten it from somewhere else.
