I simply don’t understand how the Jewish community is all over Hussein. I didn’t understand it before the election and I certainly don’t understand it now with him turning his back on Israel. Of course, the Catholics voted for him despite his stand on abortion and the miners voted for him even when he promised to close the mines but the amount of tainted koolaid that’s been used is mindboggling.

My intuitive feeling is that the information posted about the heretofore unknown (at least in these circles) Bruce Ettelson is meant to establish a specific connection between the law firm Kirkland & Ellis (where Ms. Herlihy, the author of the 2005 law review article on the constitutional requirement of Natural Born Citizenship for the presidency, now is employed) and the Obama inner circle.
However, in all objectivity, Kirkland & Ellis is a huge politically influential firm that has had high-level political ties to both major parties for decades. For example, Ken Starr once worked for them. And although its headquarters are in Chicago, it has offices, I would think, in many locations in the US and around the world.
So my gut take would be that you may be overreaching somewhat in implying that Kirkland & Ellis is an Obamaton-dominated firm serving as a place where politically like minded lawyers like Herlihy get cushy jobs because of their ties to the machine. On the other hand, one could hardly be surprised that at least some of the Obama folks are there because of its huge size and scope.
