I fail to see anything earthshaking about the discovery of this Seattle address. I'd bet the ranch that "Mrs. Anna Obama" was indeed Stanley Ann, since the surname "Obama" was extremely rare in the US at the time (and still is). The Polk directory listing also correlates with Stanley Ann's attendance at the U. of Washington during this time frame, which the U. had already made public.

Would anyone know what month that Polk directory was published?

well...a Freeper went to the trouble of checking out the Polk Directory entry - so maybe you could telephone the publishers and ask them?

The directory entry is supposedly for 1961/62. When would they start collating the information for the year? Maybe in January?
