Speaking as someone who doesn’t have an actual birth certificate I would spend time ruminating on its absence and also wonder what time I was born although I do know how much I weighed, who delivered me, who tied the cord and the remembrances of friends of the family regarding the time when I was born, as well as the comments my mother made to the doctor who delivered me. For someone to write of an obsession over a “found” birth certificate is really quite odd.

I thought the exact same thing. I guess Ayers felt it better to mention it and hope that the DNC would take that as fact, and they did. Hook, line and sinker.
