The documents link posted at TD’s over the summer showed that Ann filed for divorce in 1980 but the divorce was supposedly finalized in 1988. Lolo died in 1987 which would have negated the need for a divorce. What a weird and wacky family! At least we do know that Maya inherited anything of her father’s so her education costs could have been paid for from that. She attended Punahou from the age of 14, just a year before grandma retired. (Dec 31,1985)

But records show the divorce was finalized in 1988, about a year after he died.
I think what we have here is the typical muslim attitude toward infidel laws and contracts. They mean nothing. Only allah’s laws are supreme. It’s not SHARIA!
