It was clear you didn't but part of it, but you bolded the nut of it. AFAIK no one has yet shown definitively that the any of the images is a forgery or not, or that the purported document the images represent is a forgery or not.

Yes, the first images have problems that make them look like forgeries. Polarik has shown that, but he alone is not definitive. When Pam Geller at AtlasShrugs blog brought in TechDude and he represented himself has an expert and gave a detailed background including testimony at virtual child porn trails (as to whether the image is real or some non-real photoshop) and participation in federally sponsored forensic challenges -- I accepted his credentials, although I was unhappy with his presentation skills. Since then TechDude has scooted off into a virtual could of smoke, and left us all with a claim that Maya Kassandra Soetoro's name is left on Obama's proffered cert, in a residual pattern of vague image artifacts. I can not see that pattern, nor have all except one, and that one was dubious.

Yes, it is troubling that Corsi's employer (are they still?) denies that the CoLB is a fraud. And maybe more troubling how sloppily they do so.

One of the most curious dynamics of this whole CoLB is that as of yet, NOBODY has done a real solid takedown on either of the competing theories -- none has shown that the CoLB is true in whole, and none has shown that it is a total fraud.

As I explained in the comment right after that, I bolded it to show how I was grouping the clauses of that sloppy sentence. The phrase "a now discredited claim" could have gone either with the "that his Hawaii birth certificate is a forgery" preceding it or with the "that he was made a citizen of Indonesia ..." following it.

It's an incredibly imprecise sentence for a supposed news organization.

Agreed. But you know my snipe hunt theory. The Democrats don't want to discredit the forgery theory just yet. It's diverting attention from something else. This is a useful tempest for them.

I admit I fall on the side of believing the COLB is legitimate but I'm anxious to see evidence to the contrary. As you say, it hasn't been put to bed either way yet.

I know more about the legal side and I posted those views above. WND's "citizenship expert" is correct. They should identify him and publish his analysis for criticism.
