Don't worry about it for the moment. I just wanted to pin down where the second publication occurred. You wonder where the Advertiser got its data.

In connection with a similar effort on the first publication, they claim they got the information directly from department of Health. Now the response was such a guarantee that it was a gold plated fact that you assume it came from an Obama supporter but the format of their publication was that they were publishing record data from the state.

The response attributed the report to the Doctors and the Hospitals. Well, you say, which Doctor? Which Hospital?

As I said above, and I suspect Mrs. Dunham (Stanley Ann's mother) is probably the culprit, if you were going to attempt to file a Kenya birth as a Hawaii birth and had connections in the local community, you might well have a doctor who practiced at one of the local hospitals who might have been a participant--without putting him in a position where he committed a crime doing it.

He got the affidavit of birth under the Hawaii statute; attached a certificate of examination (on 8 August); and put it in through a hospital where he practiced. He doesn't say he delivered; he doesn't say the birth actually occurred there; he just says the kid was born August 3 to Mr. & Mrs. x x x who live at x x x; and stops there.

If that is the kind of record they have, at least if I were in their position, I might well just open it up and publish it. Its only material deficiency would be that it doesn't actually say he was born in Hawaii. Obama can finesse that--he was born at home because his parents had no money.

As we say above, the fact that they haven't done that is testimony to the fact that one of two conditions exists: Either they don't have that much; or, there is something else in the record they don't want you to see because it says he was born in Kenya.

The other issue from his Hawaii trip is his Grandmother Dunham. She knows! Exactly what happened at the birth. You don't know what her disposition will be. Either Obama has some reason to believe that she will not be supportive, or he is concerned that she will let the facts slip.

He spends a few minutes with the grandmother who raised him on a week vacation trip next door? The relationship does not seem particularly close.
