Look what I just found in the comments section of “The Honolulu Star- Bulletin”

Comment number #87

Take the birth certificate nonsense for example. I worked in KWCMC Medical Records and saw the birth log entry for him, in the actual birth log, in between all the other births for that day, same ink, same handwriting as the adjacent days, impossible to interpolate or fake. So forget the birth certificate already, just makes you folks look like baboozes.

No name, no date, a strident arrogant and condescending tone in an off-topic interjection on a vacation rental topic discussion and the place that “loco moco” posts from is “Silver Spring, MD”. A detailed memory of a hospital log book entry that would have been made 47 years ago. And that says to the rational observer what?

It would not surprise me if the comment is correct. As you know, I have long speculated that what happened was that Stanley Ann and Obama returned to Hawaii on or before August 8 and made some kind of filing with Department of Health. If I had been the lawyer, I would have had a nice neat Affidavit of Home Birth, complete with a footprint, and an undated Doctor's Examination Certificate (done on the 8th). The Department of Health would have accepted it, filed it, and it would have been entered and reported just as the record we can see reflects.

I might well have tried to get a doctor who would slip the whole thing into the Hospital record where he practiced.

The only inconsistency of that course of action with the actual record is that they haven't released those documents. And if that were the actual state of affairs, they should have. From that I draw the inference that the record will contain some other information that will cast doubt on the birth in Honolulu legend.

bvw's comment in #5124 is appropriate. The post this issue addresses is a self serving comment by an Obama supporter. However my own expectations of reality are not far off those facts.

But it is a complete answer to say--well if that is what the record reflects, they would release it; their failure to do so is effective testimony that either that isn't what the record shows or alternatively that kind of record also includes other information that would tell the reader he was born in Kenya which I continue to believe he was.
