Today she mentioned on one of the threads that somone was going to “out” her and there were other comments about cyber attacks.
Keep us posted please:)
Just back from my MIL’s who is sick. See that the fevered swamps and dead-ends full of “technical illiterates” that we are are back on bright.
On a thread since pulled, iirc, TexasDarlin noted that "John Dean" -- the alias of a poster at her site was one of the stalkers. John Dean was an advocate for the authority of Joseph Cannon in regards Techdude's analysis of the CoLB.
The black hat (fer shur, black in a badguy-way) Doc Krawetz has also tried to "out" Tex -- that was a week ago or so.
Personally? I would read the anti-cyber stalking laws and developing legal sentiment regarding the internet to mean that outing someone who is using a pseudonym is at least a tort, and often can be a crime. That is, people have a legitimate expectation of privacy by using anonymous speech. Heck -- I think that a theory could be crafted that would make it a Federal Civil Rights violation. And that's expensive for the ones who consprire and cross the line -- RICO multiple damages territory. Stalkers best cut it out.
Of course, fools avoid good advice, and mock it as bad.
