Legally changing your name doesn’t change your birth certificate.

More to the point, why would he deliberately change his name to a MUSLIM name?

Especially one that means the blessed, good and handsome direct descendant of mohammed?

I think the contention is that he was legally adopted by Soetoro. This changed Barry's legal name to Soetoro and resulted in the issuance of a new certificate of birth. The old one (which possibly said Obama or Dunham or TOOT!)either being sealed or destroyed.

If he never legally changed his name to Obama then Obama is an alias.
