According to the family, Obama's father travelled to America to study at the University of Hawaii in 1959. While there, he worked for an oil company and married his second wife, a white woman, named Anna Toot, and their union produced Barack Obama Jr.
Between midnight PDT when you posted this and now, that article also has been scrubbed.
One point of some importance in this early Africa history of Obama Sr. is his location. Apparently he was set up personally in Nairobi before he went to Hawaii. So the story about the early wife not having met Ann might well be true if Sr. took Ann to Kenya to marry her.
Her hospital story about meeting the third wife at that time implies that Sr. was not particularly forthcoming about his multiple wives. So if Sr. had resources in Kenya at the time he married Ann, and at the time Jr. was born, he might well have acted to separate the events from the family base in Northwest Kenya.
And it may well also be that the actor, seeking to avoid committing bigamy in the US and marry Stanley Ann in a forum in which he was not only not committing a crime but also would have be contracting a legal marriage was Sr., not the Dunhams.
Records of the marriage and birth might well have been filed in either Nairobi or Mombasa. The Wayne Madsen report has the birth documents coming from Mombasa; would not be surprising if that is where the marriage documents are filed also--even though the legend places the family at the other end of the country in the tribal region.
