There is absolutely ZERO witnesses of any sort for Obama in Hawaii regarding his birth.
And don’t think there isn’t a big $ bounty for anyone in the islands that can bring forth anything in that black info hole.
I agree Obama needs to produce clearly legitimate birth certificate. I don't agree he needs to produce witnesses. Outside of my own mother, I could not produce any witnesses to my birth, but I could show my birth certificate.
But the Kenyan birth stuff is created out of whole cloth, from all I have seen. There is nothing at all to back it up, or to even lead one to the conclusion. All I have seen is speculation that it must have happened that way, followed by volumes of theories for how it could have happened.
It is very often repeated that his Kenyan relatives have stated he was born there. Yet nobody making that statement seems to be able to point to any source for it. If it exists, I would really, really like to see that source.
“There is absolutely ZERO witnesses of any sort for Obama in Hawaii regarding his birth.”
I suspect his mother was at the event. ;-)
And ‘lack of sufficient documentation to convince me’ is not the same as there being no witnesses to the event. There were likely several, they just didnt know it was the Obamessiah, and so memories have been lost.
But we are left with this long, bizarre thread, where a *claim* that somone ‘admitted’ to forgery in the birth certificate was really revealed to be an admission of taking the posted birth certificate and playing around with it.
The Obama camp is standing behind the ‘official’ birth certificate:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/06/obama-birth.html
(UPDATE: In reaction to some of the comments left below challenging the veracity of the document, Ben LaBolt, an Obama campaign spokesman, sent the following reaction to The Ticket: “I can confirm that that is Sen. Obama’s birth certificate.”)
Still doesn't prove a negative, but it is interesting that no one has come forward.
