Must admit I haven't read the entire thread.

But is there a Hawaiian Freeper who might do a little legwork? In most jurisdictions birth notices are placed in the daily newspaper. Microfiche copies of old newspapers should be available at the library (or the newspaper itself).

If one can find the birth announcements for that week, his name will either be there or it will not. I'd guess we're talking about the formerly independently owned Honolulu Advertiser.

As the New Media has been wiping out the Old Media many of the archives of the various newspapers who built them are simply disappearing.
