Kids who don't know their real fathers are told a lot of strange things. Or they make up fantasies. You don't want someone that unstable in the White House. His mother may even have told him stories like that. He's had three different names, what does that tell you? He wasn't sure what religion he belonged to and then it took a long time to get a straight answer that he opposed some of the things the reverend in Chicago was ranting about. Although even that is unclear. If he doesn't have a real birth certificate from a location within the U.S., what happens? Or if even the official one is fake?

Jerry Ford was similarly situated. He seemed to have had some imaginary visits with his father that he recalled perfectly. Then there's the interesting case of George Washington ~ raised by his brother... he went on to become President of the two times and, in fact, founded the United States of America.

Did you say folks like Ford and Washington were too unstable?
