The majority of the early photo's seem to have all been supplied by the half-sister.

Now, run me through what makes you think she was born in 1963?

Obama Snr arrived in Hawaii in 1958. The Dunhams in 1960 IIRC.

CBS news article where Obama's "half-sister" Maya says that she was 9 years old in 1972 when her parents divorced.

1972-9=1963.

The article seems to have said before that Maya remembers that she was 9 in 1972 when her parents got divorced. This would mean that she was born in 1963. I know .that this sounds zany but it appears that they have removed the 1972 divorce date from the article on cbs since I linked it.

Can the divorce date be retrieved elsewhere?

They still have her saying that she was 9 years old when her parents divorced though.

"Soetoro-Ng, who is nine years younger than Obama, said her mother divorced Soetoro when she was 9, making Obama the father figure in her life. He toured colleges with her, showed her New York and Chicago and gave her her first novels."
