Perhaps neither bizarre nor counterfactual.
First off, I note that he wasn't born during the school year.
It seems likely that his parents went to visit his dad's parents for the summer, much cheaper to spend a summer in Kenya than the US even then, and unless college students were richer then than I was, that would be an important consideration.
No problem, they planned to fly back a week or so before the due date, so he wouldn't have to be born in a dangerous 3rd world country.
As noted earlier in the thread, at that time airline were reluctant to risk emergency childbirth at 20,000 feet over mid ocean. That means it is entirely possible that a slightly too pregnant Stanley Ann discovered too late that she had to wait until after childbirth to return to Hawai'i, even if she originally had intended to drop the kid on US soil...
“It seems likely that his parents”
It seems likely that you can speculate quite well without a hair of evidence. His mother was never in Kenya. His Dad was in Hawaii. They met there, they lived there in Hawaii.
“It seems likely that his parents went to visit his dad’s parents for the summer, much cheaper to spend a summer in Kenya than the US even then,”
Yes, 18 year olds would fly halfway around the world on an expensive air ticket for a summer ... to save *money*. And to give birth to a son. After where do you come up with these laughable speculations... oh, and then after doing such a thing, you’d lie to your own son and fake records about where he was born for his entire life.
Obama had a socialist Dad, a hippie leftie Mom, a Communist Mentor, spent 20 years in front of Rev “God damn America” Wright, and has the most liberal yet hollow record of anyone in the Senate.... with all this, you want to go after this invented fairy tale? This is such laughable nonsense it must be trolls trying to spread this FUD.
“That means it is entirely possible that a” ... an army of monkeys will fly out of your butt after your next meal of bake beans and franks. You’ll never know until you try.
