So.....what exactly am I supposed to clear up?

About the pic of Ann Dunham and Barak Sr. and the one with Barak Sr. and the kid. It's an airline terminal, it's a ticketing counter (not arrivals and Customs) and it may well be HNL at a later date but certainly not John Rodgers Terminal in 1962. Whether some of them were leaving Hawaii or all of them or just one isn't deductible from a photograph. Besides, the information and time line provided by Obama's autobiography and his website contains some items which are true and some that are false. But this whole thread is dealing with information provided by that same source and there's no way to prove or disprove any of it other than the phony Certificate of Birth.....published by a surrogate and plausibly deniable.


Any real skinny on Barak Obama's birth place will be found at the US State Dept (Passports), Kenya ( Visas) following his mother's travels to Kenya and back....to who knows where, perhaps to Washington state or Hawaii.

When I first landed at John Rodgers International Air Port it was in 1971, a refueling stop for a Freedom Bird and a 4 hour layover. When I came back to Hawaii in 1972, it was Honolulu International. Keep in mind that the locals here at the time referred to the airport by its more familiar, historical name for a while. Actually, it was simply the 'air port'.

You commented back of July 4th that you recognized the airport as HNL because you had been there dozens of times. So, you recognized it as HNL in 1971 or later?

Actually I said it might be HNL or not. Yes, I've been past the overseas terminal dozens of time. The Inter Island terminal is on the far side of the air port, so to get to flights leaving for the mainland, one can wait 15 minutes for the shuttle or walk it in about 7 minutes. I walk.

Let's talk story. The Inter Island terminal is on da Ewa side and the Mainland terminals are on da Diamond Head side and the International is in da middle. So whenevah I go mainland, I holoholo ovah to da Leahi side past da Pake, Pilipino an' Nihon airlines in da middle from da Ewa side.

I’m sorry, I must have misunderstood you. A few days ago, I had complimented you on your excellent eyesight because you were able to read the writing on the wall behind the “happy couple” in the photo. Your above response led me to believe that it was your excellent memory which enabled you to recognize the writing on the wall because you had been past the hnl international terminal dozens of times, and so you had seen it in person.

So, you don’t know what the terminal looks like and you are unable to date the photo as being pre or post 1961?

David, I don't know what you mean by enlargement of the watch. The whole picture could be enlarged just by doubling the width and height.

PJT, I know what you mean by different angles. I would think if Obama Sr. had moved to our left, as we are looking at the top picture, not only would he have blocked the tree, he would have also blocked a lot of the ticket man and the distance on the counter would have been a lot shorter. Those two things seem to be the same in both pictures.

Calpernia, I really don't know what photo software is. I was thinking the possibilie that the picture of Obama Sr. and Obama Jr. could have been photoshopped.

I guess it is time to put this thing with the pictures to bed. At least for me it is. LOL!

I don't know how this is going to turn out - it might be really small- but this is why I don't think the black band is a watch. Set too low on his arm and I think I can see something in the watch position above it. I think it is the phone cord.

I'm inclined to agree, however, I just noticed something strange...both of them are wearing their watches on the left hand. Are both left-handed, or might that be a mirror-image super-imposed on the background?

Don't know what to make of it, or what purpose it would serve, as I am still convinced the boy is obama.

I noticed that Junior's watch is on his right hand in the pic above where he is sitting outside on the slope. FWIW BO, Sr. switched hands too. I was trying to discern if I could date him by his glasses but I am giving up for now too.

After staring at that image for ever...I must say I am not totally convinced that man behind the counter is the same man. Look at his height. On one image he appears to be barely waist-high to the counter, and on the other image, he is leaning over it with height to spare.

It’s interesting to me that an obviously older Obama Sr is attempted by some to be placed in 1961. Why this reach? It’s clearly 1971 and the boy is barack Jr.

It’s further interesting that Sr has a cig in his right hand.

So is the ticket agents, but the man at the counter has something on his right wrist. I also noticed in the picture above with Soetoreo his is on his left, as well as Ann's fathers. I think it must be a guy thing. But then one of the other pictures shows Obama's Sr on his right wrist. Guess he couldn't make up his mind.
