The Chinese sure did strip the timber in Tibet. They have also stripped a lot of the mineral resources already. The money isn’t going to Tibetans or to Tibetan infrastructure. I have heard of the water diversion projects. No benefit to Tibet.

how bind and ignorant you are to China!

China has forbidden stripping domestic forest since the flood happened in 1998.

All timber/wood China is using are imported from other countries.

The glaciers in the Himalaya Plateau provide fresh water for India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Burma, in addition to China.

The Chinese, who have already polluted 70% of their own rivers want control of that area, and the water that goes with it. The Tibetans are just in the way.
