You have to look around to find really good milk bargains but they are out there. A few months ago, Publix was selling milk for just a buck a half gallon for one day only so I stocked up with enough milk for a couple of weeks. I can also get milk for that same price at a discount food store I go to but they only have that special once every few weeks so I also stock up on milk when it is available at that price. Oh, and the same place sells Jimmy Dean Sausages at a buck for the pound pack. Just finished eating some a little while ago.

That would be the "Penny Mystery Item." Every week, on Sunday and Monday, an item is on sale for a penny so long as you purchase a minimum of 10$ worth of goods.

It's nice. A half gallon of milk is popular; we usually have that one up every several weeks. We also get other items like a gallon of bleach, paper towels, certain kinds of cereal, cheese...and, just yesterday, Progresso soup. :3

It's supposed to be only "One item per customer", but I know some savvy shoppers go through the hassle of multiple orders/trips to get around that little loophole.
