Huh? I've been a Hoosier all of my life and, while Indiana enjoys a reputation for superior melon farming, I have never heard of an "Indiana Melon" that is cross between cantelope and honeydew. It sounds tasty, though.

In Ohio they are called Honey Rocks. They look just like cantelope only bigger with big grooves on the outside. You find them all over the midwest from roadside vendors. VERY tasty!!! Which is why ordinary cantelope no longer satisfies me.

I keep seeing those giant papaya's that you talk about. And they're fairly cheap. I think I'll try one next time I make some papaya pico de gallo.
