I don’t know the present details.
I don’t either but that hasn’t kept either one of us from making assumptions as to the situation at hand. From some of the local news reports I’ve read they couldn’t get straight info or what they felt was straight info as the people kept changing their stories, identities, etc. Thus they got a temp court order good for 14 days to remove them and complete the investigative process. At the end of 14 days they have to return the childern or get another court order.
I still believe that the outcome will be to let the children go back to their mothers and families but with the state keeping some kind of oversight responsibility. As I said I don’t know as it is only my assessment of what I’ve read/seen, etc.
You're right that I'm assuming some things too. One of my assumptions is that CPS's and juvenile/family court systems are industries. Court orders are not necessarily hard to get. 400 children swept up en masse into that morass will generate a lot of business and attorneys fees.
I personally trust State nannies as far as I can throw a Steinway 9 foot grand piano. I think it is probable that at least some of their parents are innocent parties and that they and their children have already been damaged and are going to be further hurt by what the State has done and will do to them. In that system you are guilty until proven innocent.
Cordially,
