“McCain: I’d ‘entertain’ Democratic VP slot”

USA Today, March 10, 2004

“John Kerry is a close friend of mine. We have been friends for years,” McCain said Wednesday when pressed to squelch speculation about a Kerry-McCain ticket. “Obviously I would entertain it.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John McCain,
Boston Herald, April 2, 2004
“I believe my party has gone astray. I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have no problems with it, in their views and in their philosophy.”
Loose your bigotry.
Actually, when it comes to the truth, the Lord WANTS us to be downright bigoted!
Yeah, pray that the member of an anti-Christian cult gets the nomination. I'm sure that is a prayer the Lord will honor!
Better that than a hypocrite so-called Christian who walked away from his calling to preach the gospel to become a POLITICIAN.
LOL...
We keep pretending that a “true” conservative might someday make it to the white house. When was there ever one in the last century?
Heck, the GOP hasn’t even ~nominated~ a conservative since Goldwater, and even he wouldn’t have been conservative “enough” for this crowd.
We are not choosing a leader of our church.
You need to read the Bible more.
I assume you mean Huckabee and not McCain...but don't you think it is a little ironic that you think hypocrites are called to preach the gospel? Interesting point of view...
If Reagan wasn't conservative for you, then I guess Jesus would be the only one who could meet your standards.
Hmm, I didn't realize you had a hidden camera in my house and could monitor my bible reading. But anyway, where in the Bible does it say we should vote for anti-Christian cult members to be leaders in our government? I must have missed that passage.
That is EXACTLY the type of response I would expect from a Huckster supporter.
Twist what was said and meant and then attack the false and incorrect meaning that you put on my words.
Huckabee is a Hypocrite NOW because of his lying about his record and his un-Christian like behavior towards other candidates he does not agree with, particulary Thompson and Romney.
He is also a hypocrite because he walked away from his calling from God to become a politician.
Either he was never called to preach by God, or he sacrificed the most important job on earth to be a politician.
Which is it Arturo?
If Reagan wasn't conservative for you,...
Actually, Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, etc. and plenty of Freepers would have considered Reagan a flaming liberal if he was running now based upon his record as governor of CA.
Actually, that is a lie.
All you have to do is listen to their shows for a week to know EMPHATICALLY how they feel about Reagan.
They Love him and Revere him as the Great Communicator.
But nice try at smearing Reagan to make an excuse for your FAUX-conservative of a candidate.
Yes, I know, you didn't like the fact that Huckabee defended his record after Thompson and Romney initiated attacks on Huckabee. The fact that he didn't just roll over and take it makes him a "liar".
He is also a hypocrite because he walked away from his calling from God to become a politician.
Ah, so your view is that the will of God for an individual is best determined by you, and not between God and that particular individual. Interesting take!
