1.3.1 also fixed the Punkbuster too...

I just wish they had as much flexibility as the UT engine does as far as player skins/models is concerned.

It can be force fed.
The game Prey is based off the D3 engine, and they force fed that puppy some interesting things.
(Sadly, I don’t have it.)
