True, but he does face reelection in 4 years. If no Fred, sigh....Romney may be the one we have to got with. I’d feel better with President Romney than President Clinton any day. I saw some suggest Romney/Thompson which would make it a little less painful.

Romney/Thompson which would make it a little less painful.

I HATE this combination. It must be Thompson/Romney if we are going this route. Everyone knows I want Romney President, but if we are going to have Thompson part of the equation, we cannot have him as VP! The problem with having Thompson as VP is that he will be too old (Americans will think so not me necessarily...yes McCain is being humored). Romney is 15 years younger than Fred at least so he has plenty of time to run for President after the eight years. FRed will be hitting close to 80 when the eight years are over. We don’t want to go through what we are going through now again in eight years having no VP ready for President. Thompson/Romney makes sense!!!!!
