Yes it does. And a thank you from all Fred supporters.
Mitt definitely got the short end of the talking time stick tonight.
He was allowed to speak only 6 times tonight. McCain spoke 12 times, Paul and Huckabee 9, and Thompson and Rudy 7.
“candidate like Huckabee who can beat the Clintons at their own game?”
Oh man, I can hear the police sirens already!

Go read message 59. Watch the videos. Think rationally. Those facts alone will justify automatic rejection of Senator Thompson in the minds of most evangelicals. His supporters who are trying to destroy the reputation of Governor Huckabee have been straining out gnats and swallowing a camel—as well as increasing the likelihood that the nomination will eventually go to Senator McCain.
I LOVED it, he was fantastic. I stood up and cheered and so did my husband.
Bush politically has done well. He had 1 bad off year election cycle that was near the end of his 2 terms. Even then, he has managed to win every major battle with the democratic controlled congress.
“Think rationally. Those facts alone will justify automatic rejection of Senator Thompson in the minds of most evangelicals.”
Evangelicas are smart, they’ll soon see that Thompson is the ONE who is strong enough face our enemies down!
Huckabee, will just want them to have a sit down.

Send Fred your support, and a couple $$ too...
“Ron Paul in a complete idiot”
I thought Ron Paul made some sense about Israel.
With President Bush currently over there dictating their national life and policies, it was ludicrous for Rudy Giuliani to deny that they are a subservient client state of the USA. On that issue, Ron Paul was correct, and Rudy was blowing smoke.

And when rank-and-file evangelicals find out, many of them are going to be shocked.
“Ron Paul made some sense about Israel.”
Israel suffers because the arab nations deflect criticisms from their people onto the Israeli and PA conflict.
The only safe Israel is a strong one!
Olmert is just marking time to his exit, his coalition could fall any day.
If the larger Arab states would just worry about their own people’s issues, and not transfer their failures to Israel, the Israeli’s would have disarmed the PA many years ago. But Arab money continues to deliver weapons and ammo to keep Israel in the Arab press.
Israel is the arab scapecoat for all problems in the middle east.
I’m curious as to what the pro-Huckabee evangelicals think about Hucakbee taking nearly $40,000 from Novo Nordisk. They are all about researching with embryonic stem cells.
“$40,000 from Novo Nordisk”
He’ll probably just say he thought is was from Nordic Trak!
Ya see Kurt, when Huck starts handing out pamphlets and running commercials saying what you are saying, all those right to life organizations are going to be ticked. Not at Fred but at Huck, for trying to distort a man with a 100% pro life voting record. A man that they obviously vetted strenuously.
I know that it is tough to understand for a Huck supporter, but please try. Actions speak volumes. Get it. 100% pro life. 100%. Not a quote pulled out of context. Specific, relevant actions.
Now, as Fred has a 100% pro life voting record along with many right to life endorsements, I should think, being an evangelical Christian, you would be pleased.
I hope republicans are wise enough to recognize that adhering to some set of principles that may have been applicable in the eighties for success will not prevail against the demoncrats in this era. Enough about Reagan, because that is a long time ago, and it is pure horse hockey to say that his principles were the fundamental key to his electoral success. He had extremely good timing after Carter's disastrous first term and Mondale, like all senate candidates was a joke. Plus Reagan had super charisma, and did many things that conservatives find offensive today. They'd label Reagan a cut and runner for goodness sake.
I think that Thompson's calling Huckabee a demoncrat ( in essence ), he is exposing not only the flaw in our two party system, but the reason we are such a polarized country. There is nowhere for someone that doesn't adhere to the two parties PC laws to go. Huckabee's pro-life values, 2nd amendment support, immigration and tax plans are way too radical for the democrats to accept him. Now we are being told that the pubbies think he is too liberal because he has had to make some tough decisions as an actual, real decider, and that he actually has a compasionate side and wants to help people if possible.
But Huckabee already recognizes that when he talks about verticality vs. a horizontal mindset. I think the American voter will see that as being the gosh awful closest version of the truth coming from anyone, and will reward him for it.
Thompson's attack might amuse Rush, but it did nothing to hurt Huckabee with the American public.
“Huckabee demonstrated his superiority with an extremely measured, calm response”
He sure did....”Gulp.”
“Uh, did you say national teachers association...uhhh, ummm, well vouchers....uuuhhhh...Gulp.”
Bingo. Huckabee is our horse.
Well, if I was in your shoes I would contact the NRTL or any other pro-life org that has endorsed Fred and ask them for a detailed explanation. Have you even gone to the NRTL website or called them to get some clarification? You might have an "oh yeah" moment....or not, but it would be worth the effort if you are that concerned.
