Yep, and it's a doozie. They actually claim George W. Bush used space-based electromagnetic pulse satellites to bring down Wellstone's plane, because Bush saw polls showing Wellstone was going to get "80% of the vote" in 2004. Like he's Dr. Evil or something.
I wish I could find the thread, but the factual evidence they cited proving it was possible was the movie "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory."
Truly a classic DU thread/celebration of mental illness.
Ooooo! A "La-ser"!
Someone needs to cue the "Rove, you magnificent Bastard" photos.....
Veni, Vidi, Vichy: "I came, I saw, I surrendered."

Pete Stark, welcome to the Boneless Chicken Ranch!
Rep. Pete Stark (D-Balled).
The Rove has his puppets on a string:
THE ROVENESS OF ROVE
Tune: "The Wonder of You"
When no one else can make decisions,
When all opponents are afraid--
One man has might that can't be measured,
Nor can the strength of Rove be weighed.
From his perfect storms he likes to throw
His lightning bolts like Jove;
That's the Roveness,
The Roveness of Rove.
When he says "Jump!" the press says "How high?"
They kneel before him, kiss his ring;
He sees all, knows all, and controls all;
He has his puppets on a string.
I'll watch the moonbats get all caught up in
The tangled web he wove;
That's the Roveness,
The Roveness of Rove.
I'll watch the moonbats get all caught up in
The tangled web he wove;
That's the Roveness--
The Roveness of Rove!
Coma, Coma, COMA!
DUAC, DUAC, DUAC!
Is that you, benburch?
Behold your leader, DUmmies!

2003: As Stark belittled House Ways and Means Chairman Bill Thomas (R-Calif.), then-Rep. Scott McInnis (R-Colo.) told him to "shut up."
"You think you are big enough to make me, you little wimp?" Stark taunted. "Come on. Come over here and make me, I dare you. You little fruitcake."
2001: At a Ways and Means subcommittee hearing on abstinence promotion, Stark referred to then-Rep. J.C. Watts (R-Okla.) as the "current Republican Conference chairman, whose children were all born out of wedlock."
1995: In a private meeting, Stark called then-Rep. Nancy L. Johnson (R-Conn.) a "whore for the insurance industries."
"He didn't call her a 'whore,' " defended Stark press secretary Caleb Marshall. "He called her a 'whore of the insurance industry.' "
1991: Stark singled out "Jewish colleagues" for blame for the Persian Gulf War, referring to then-Rep. Stephen Solarz (D-N.Y.) as "Field Marshal Solarz in the pro-Israel forces."
1990: Stark called then-Health and Human Services Secretary Louis Sullivan, who is African American, "as close to being a disgrace to his race as anyone I've ever seen."
