I don't much like Mitt, but it's not one bit about his being Mormon -- the best state rep I've had yet is a Mormon (Toby Nixon), and if he runs in the next election cycle I am completely behind him, as I've been before.

Mitt's father was a good governor (Michigan), for all he was a bit liberal. His D successors have apparently since reduced the state to a hellhole.

Here’s some information that made the rounds yesterday at the Utah Republican Convention, where Flip-flopping, liberal supporting, Mitt won over 80% of the straw-poll votes (nope there is no bigotry in Utah folks....move along)

The LDS church is mainly a support group for middle class people trying to raise children. Granted Mormon theology is indistinguishable from what most people call science fiction, the good news is that most people including most Mormons don’t really give a rat’s a** about theology.
