“If the netroots have been burning up the phone lines, emails, faxes, why are they not listening?”
Because despite what the DUpes down on DUPont Circle and the Kos Kiddies tell you simpletons...there aren’t enough of you in this country to make a tinkers damn worth of difference.
But you DUmmies and Kos Kids keep telling yourself that you represent the “majority” of the people.
Idiots.

We win both Houses with a message from the American people to end the insanity and the Democrats do NOTHING
It's almost as if this DUmmie knows nothing about how our Government works. Oh wait, he/she/it DOESN'T! Slim majorities in both Houses with the opposing party in the White House will accomplish...um...well...nothing! Slim majorities will not be able to override Bush's veto. Heck, we had better majorities in 2005 AND the White House and still could not get reforms completed.

It’s just more proof that these idiots will believe anything the DBM tells them.
DBM does a poll of 2-3K people...70 percent of THOSE SURVEYED say “get out of Iraq now” and suddenly...a tenth of a percent of the people in this country supposedly speak for the majority...and these idiots actually believe it...which leads to their absolute disbelief and shock when things like this happen.

I cannot believe the lunacy of the democrat party and how low this party has gone. Their Congress people are now going into crazy left wing lunatic websites, posting their opinions, and quoting other left wing lunatic internet postings to make their case!

MONEY HAS TO BE REMOVED FROM POLITICS.Great things can begin from home. Go for it. Stop donating to the DNC. Think of all the extra pizza money you'll have, even if the minimum wage doesn't go to $20/hr. Tell all your friends to do the same. Go on TV and let everyone know you are starting this worthwhile effort. Get the ball rolling NOW! AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!

Some strategy. We cant back down when the stakes are so high.
LOL! The irony! This strategy that they condemn for political posturing is exactly the one they WANT for the Iraq war!!!

I’d be willing to bet benburch does!

Its just more proof that these idiots will believe anything the DBM tells them.
And they just keep thinking that there was a mandate for withdraw and surrender since they won slim majorities. Only thing is that they won because some of their punks ran on more conservative platforms than their Republican opponents. Only in the mind of a DUmmie does this make sense. Conclusion: Americans REALLY DO want our government to end the PC warfare and let our forces eliminate ALL of the enemy, including Iranians like Al-Sadr and Co.

John Edwards is for sending a bill similar to the supplemental back to Bush and pressing hard in the forthcoming negotiations, not folding or playing the patsy.
WTF? Am I missing something here? How can John Edwards introduce a Bill when he is no longer in Congress? Oh, he's FOR sending a bill. Wow, strong stand there for the Breck Girl.

According to this poster’s correct spelling and use of the word “fatuous”, I’d have to call it LFT!
To: PJ-Comix
How interesting. The DNC base is mad, the GOP base is mad, and none of the 2008 presidential candidates are great.
We have the setting for a four party race.

According to this posters correct spelling and use of the word fatuous, Id have to call it LFT!Could be, but it would make a good rallying cry throught DU/KOs/Huffy-land. "NO DIME! JUST RESIGN!"

"She said in so many words that the supplemental with no timelines is a done deal. There is already a "strong consensus" to do it, she says" Actually, my guess as to what happened goes something along the lines of...Bush signals to Reid and Pelosi that including a timeline is a direct violation of the Constitutional separation of powers and a usurpation of the powers vested in the Commander and Chief.
Not only will a constitutional scuffle divide the voters deeper along specific lines (the nutroots would explode into even more extreme nuttiness!) but they (Reid and Pelosi) would have their asses handed to them on a unanimous SCOTUS vote in favor of the CiC.
I only wish Bush would have spoken of this publicly.
To: Cletus.D.Yokel
Oh, and Reid and Pelosi would have no recourse but to expose their total ignorance of how the Constitution works and what “Representative Republic” really means.
To: Cletus.D.Yokel
I only wish Bush would have spoken of this publicly.Bush should have spoken publicly, and politically, on a number of issues, but hasn't. That's one major failing of his administration, IMHO.
